I love your adjustable belts

Dear Sir, I love your adjustable belts. The first one i ordered thru amazon was the southwest pattern, and i wear it all the time, it goes with everything and is very comfortable. I'm sure i'll be ordering other colors soon and will highly recommend your belt to my friends. Sincerely Tim Blake, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Sturdy and Comfortable

I have been very happy with these belts. The buckles are metal-free and suitable for those with allergies or sensitivities. The belt straps come pretty long (one-size-fits-all, I guess) but can be easily shortened with scissors and a lighter. The buckle is made of a heavy plastic and the strap is tightly woven. Overall the belt is quite sturdy. My previous belt lasted several years of near daily wear, which seems very reasonable for the price. I purchased replacements in multiple colours.
Not that nice of a belt.

Much crappier in person than I thought it would be. Yes, it is a belt. It will hold my pants up. It is pretty cheap for a belt. It is just a plastic clasp, and the nylon used to make the belt is just a lower quality feel in my opinion. I mean, I wasn't going after a super fancy, high end dress belt, but I wanted something decent. This is not that. It is a cheap lightweight belt that you can easily pack and travel with. This belt is lame.
Not at all what they used to be. How sad.

I bought four of these belts in 2014. The material was military robust, the buckles very secure, and even with my bulging waist, they were up to the task. I broke the khaki buckle, my fault, and ordered a replacement two weeks ago. OMG, what a difference three years makes. If you take one of my original belts and try to fold it, edge to edge, there's a high amount of resistance. The new one? Folded up like a Christmas ribbon!!! The new one is not even half the thickness of the original, it's much darker than the original khaki, and it has lost the battles, and the war, against my waist. Might be made in America, as were the originals, but this one just isn't worth the money. A lesson to Thomas Bates: NEVER sacrifice quality to price when it comes to clothing articles like this. I'm sending this one back and won't buy any more, that's for sure. Damn shame. Oh, and as many others have noted, don't buy this if your waist is more than 40". There's no room left for adjustment at that size.
Excellent belt - my favorite.

The Thomas Bates Hiker belt has become my favorite belt. It looks good with jeans, and I love the infinite adjustability of the buckle. Also when it comes to opening the buckle you just pull the tag end away from your body which opens the locked down door of the belt. If the belt is a little too loose, just pop open, adjust 1/4" and click it closed. No worries about sizing, just get the huge one and size it yourself (cut and heat seal). The graphite color is a nice neutral gray. I wear them to work, working in the yard, hanging around and they are bomb-proof. No leather to stretch out or belt holes that wear out. All that and they're inexpensive. Woot!
