I purchase this latch clamps for a utility trailer in the farm and road trips into the mountains. This product takes all the abuse of heavy field work.
I used these for a hatch cover on a teardrop trailer.

When I ordered these, I was picturing a 3 or 4 in handle with the rest sized accordingly. When they arrived I thought OMG these are for toys. The entire unit is under 4 inches. But as it turned out they were substantial enough to do what I needed them to do. They've held my hatch cover closed and dust tight for over 1,000 miles. I'm pretty happy so far.
