Awesome deep sounding muffler

I really like the sound and look of this muffler. it is deep sounding on my 2005 accord. I have a 4 cylinder model and at idle it sounds quiet but, gets kinda loud when you get on the gas. The muffler has good welds, and good black chrome plating. I have not had a single issue with this muffler and would highly recommend it.

I love it. It sounds angrier and crisper than the worn out DC Sports muffler it replaced. It's slightly smaller than the old one, so it isn't quite as deep in tone, but god it looks and sounds good. I'll update with an audio clip later, as I just had it installed today.

These mufflers are the way to go if you have cheap aftermarket mufflers or just stock ones. D.C. sport exhaust has never disappointed me. I have D.C. Headers and it is the reason why I purchased these, quality made, feels durable. Love the color and the noise it makes. Of course the only con to this muffler is the silencer being so tight in and hard to get out, BUT it comes out. The silencer being so well fitted and tight is actually a good thing so you don't get a raspy sound just clear & deep with headers. The price is also the best on amazon so you can't go wrong with purchasing these mufflers.

Nice, beefly piece of work, looks good, changed the character of the exhaust note a bit, cut out some of the high end notes and lowered the volume just a little bit. REMEMBER to clean, if not sand, the exhaust pipe your are putting it on... works best if mount flanges are right at half inch from the end of the exhaust pipe.... Need to have some kind of sealer for the back edge to enclose the tip.

This tip looks great and installs easy(10mm). Make sure you tighten the bolts down tight, because its a heavy tip. Fits my 2.5 inch exhaust fine. As for sound I don't know about stock exhaust, but I have a 3" flow tech afterburner muffler that's reduced to a 2.5" outlet and it definitely made a difference in sound. Lower, smoother growl when shifting gears. It does sound the best at higher RPM's in my truck (2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7L 6-speed manual). Highly recommended! Don't be fooled by the picture its flat black not high gloss. (plastic wrap)
