Helps prevent marks on porcelain, cleaner than a mat

This is doing a great job at protecting our porcelain sink from marks. I just put it in the dishwasher at least once a month to keep it clean. My only gripe is that it can keep food particles from going down the drain, so I have to pick it up to clear the sink out. But I think it stays much cleaner than a mat.

These sink protectors fit perfectly in my new stainless steel sink and the plastic coating keeps them from scratching the bottom and sides. They keep things above the sink bottom, making things laid on them more sanitary. It also keeps the pots from scratching the bottom when washing them. I ordered a different set and they didn't fit, plus they weren't coated in plastic and even their little rubberized feet wouldn't have been as good as this one. These are the ideal sink protectors and I recommend them to everyone!!

Great for protecting and it fit perfectly in my small kitchen sink. The first one I bought was not sealed properly and started rusting in the uncovered spot but hasn't left any rust stains on my sink. I have yet to apply caulking to the spot. About 4 months later, I bought a second one for the other side of the sink and noticed that the same spot has been patched up so I guess they solved that issue. I would recommend this product over the plastic ones that cover the sink because it's easier to clean and doesn't get grimy as easily.

Really nice product and heavy duty. I had another brand that looked similar for 2 years in my deep porcelain sinks and they were somewhat flimsy. Then later the rubber coating began to peel exposing the wire frame which quickly rusted and began to stain the corners of my sinks where they rest on the porcelain. So it was time to order new ones and I saw someone write a review on the old products review page that these Better Houseware Sink Protectors are higher quality for just a bit more in cost. So I checked it out and bought them and ABSOLUTELY. They are very substantial and hold up brilliantly under heavy dishes and are a very good looking product in the sink. The other ones were not awful, these are just way better. I hope they hold out way better too, time will tell.
