These seem to be much higher quality than I expected for the price. I've never used a screw collar set like this before. But I will from now on. It worked great for keeping the wheels in place that I added onto a 5/8 in steel rod to attach to my drum smoker. Will buy again if the need arises!

Tip: Oil the hex threads before installing with some heavy oil or anti-seize compound to keep them rust-free and easily removable longer - if the equipment they are on is exposed to the weather. .

A real pain to get on the axle. This product would be MUCH better if the inside of both sides of the collar was beveled slightly, to allow the collar to align with the axle better before tapping on with a mallet. The hard steel of these collars actually damage the edges of the axles if you aren't careful, making it virtually impossible to get on after that.
