Perfect for coffee grounds
Dr. Hama✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 4, 2023
I purchased this to strain coffee grounds from my French press coffee pot. I throw it in the kitchen sink, dump the grounds, and then march them out to the compost bin. It is the perfect size to fit in my sink and keep grounds from slopping down the drain and thus necessitating a call to the plumber to snake the drain. This strainer was recommended by the manufacturer of the French press. I was skeptical at first but am now sold on this item. It should be sold with the French press, as a combo purchase.
using to filter my laundry water of 100micro pollution.

seemed kinda flimsy and not going to last... not true.
I have a new septic/cesspool. I read how micro pollution from fibers hurts our oceans.
even if not true, it is also linked to drain field issues so I want to keep my system troublefree.
oddly it catches a lot of sand and not so much fibers. I don't even know where the sand is coming from!
but, it's catching it. I glued this into a 5gallon pail with holes in the bottom.
this gives it time for water to filter and if it spills over it's into the sink.
so far, I have to wipe it down every other load.
and 50% of that is lint... 50% of a grit like sand material??
I use to filter just water. After one year ...

I use to filter just water. After one year no problems (it is good). I have no experience with diesel or paints.
Does what it says it does...simple

I use it as a pre-filter to open op my pool early rather than gunk up my DE filter
Exactly what I was looking for.
