Used this 100 micron filter to salvage honey extracted from the brood boxes. Worked great and held up. Was able to salvage about 25 pounds of otherwise unusable honey. Pollen and bee poop will pass through a 200 mesh strainer but the 100 mesh will filter it out. Heating the honey a little (120F - my oven temp when not on) really speeds up the filtering process. Basic construction and look is exactly the same as what you get from bee keeping supply however none of the bee keeping supply houses sell anything finer than 200 mesh.
A match for any straining task.

These strainers fit 5 gallon buckets perfectly. They are very durable and will not break even when completely filled and spatula is used to scrape clogging. No I am not making biodiesel. Great reusable filtering.
