Mine was indeed a North American Rescue brand tourniquet. Haven't used it yet but im confident it will get the job done I was a little wary buying a tourniquet from Amazon because meds are NOT something you should be cheap with

I've gotten burned by fake C-A-Ts from a different site, but the ones I've received from Amazon, including from this page, have been genuine. I'm a certified Emergency Medical Responder, so I need the best, and the C-A-T I bought from this page is both genuine and high quality. Genuine C-A-Ts are made by Composite Resources and most are distributed by North American Rescue (NAR is one of five authorized distributors). For anyone not familiar with them, I'm attaching a picture of the buckle of the C-A-T I ordered from this page. There's the logo, name and address for Composite Resources, an outline of a cat, and NSN6515-01-521-7976. That's the National Stock Number the military uses to order C-A-Ts. That's not a 100% guarantee of a genuine C-A-T, but it's pretty darn close. And obviously you'll want the best just as I do. There's a good reason why the military has decided to deploy C-A-Ts widely with the troops, and why they're highly desired by Emergency Medical Services personnel. Not only do they work extremely well, but they can be used by one person. So if you get an injury that causes massive bleeding in one of your extremities, you can use this C-A-T without the assistance of others. I recommend watching some YouTube videos on the procedures for using the C-A-T. It's not entirely intuitive, and you don't want to be reading instructions or trying to figure it out while someone is bleeding out, or if you are.
