Does not stick - I believe this must be OLD product that was sent to me.
Some of it worked well but the rest was coming off the protective backing before I even unrolled it.
These strips aren't sticking to anything.
Wish I would have noticed this before I cut off a strip I would have sent it all back
ALSO: Rolled so tight that the last 6 inches is pretty much unusable even if it would stick. So wrinkled.

Good for after-market repair of door sill guard

I needed to replace the sill guard on the driver side, since it gets the most wear, and couldn't find an exact fit for a reasonable price. This will allow me to replace/repair the sill fairly easily to nearly match the original. Just wish I could have found it in a wider style for simpler application but this will work because it is long enough.

I was skeptical based on the other reviews, but man did this guard tape apply well. I actually used it for the back hatch door to my 4Runner where the window rolls down so I wouldn't tare up the plastic. Perfect length and perfect application if anyone wants to use it for that purpose. Highly recommend to everyone! PS. Left it in the sun for a couple or hours and had no issues with wrinkles.

Awesome product!!!!!! A must have for any vehicle. I installed on my 2012 toyota tundra crewmax and it looks great very tough. Udate. I've had it on my truck now for almost a year and still looks great.

When applied to a clean smooth surface, the adhesive holds very well.
I decided to try applying some leftover material onto an interior trim piece made of plastic bearing a simulated leather texture. Even after thorough degreasing of surface, the material would not stick to the surface.
Otherwise, perfect for door sills in a car.
