Works okay for PSP

I bought this card 1 month ago for my PSP. Transferring files from PC to PSP does not seem any faster than my old 1gb Sony pro DUO (non HG or HX). Saving and loading games feels like the exact same speed compared to my old card as well. Overall, if this card is faster you probably won't notice.
I am very happy with the price though =)
This is also a legit Sony card, there are lots of fakes on the market. The storage capacity is very close to 8g and I haven't had any corrupt files (file corruption is a sure fire sign of a fake card).
As for playing downloaded games, it can be frustrating. Final Fantasy 7 crashed on me one time (RPG players know how terrible it is when a game crashes far away from a savepoint). Furthermore, on 3 occasions all the in game text turned into a mushy distortion of colors. The glitches seem to occur after 30 minutes of gameplay, be sure to save often! lol
I mainly use my PSP for music; I haven't experienced any real problems but sometimes the first few seconds of a song will play a strange fuzzy static. Not a big deal.

This little card works as expected, and I can get tons and tons of photos on the 8 gb size. No complaints about the card itself.
My only issue is that my laptop does not have a memory-stick slot, so I have to plug in my camera to view and download pictures. I personally like the convenience of just taking the card out of the camera for downloading, rather than keeping the darn cord handy for a camera hook-up. Fortunately though, my camera also takes an SD card, which I do have a laptop slot for, so I'll be mostly using the sd card instead.
So...nothing negative about this memory-stick card. Just be sure you have a slot, or be prepared to use your camera & cord.

I have a Sony Handycam HDR-SR11 and have had a difficult time finding the correct Memory Stick Pro Duo card' This card upon initial testing seems to be fine. All other cards I have tried would generate an error message plus audible beep stating that the card might not record or play. Now I tested these cards also and despite the error message seemed to work, but the audible beep was irritating. Hope this helps out for somebody running into this problem. Cannot believe Sony support did not address this quirky problem.
