5 microns is pretty small. Within a week my flow rate dropped dramatically. Went back to 25 microns. This was for a well. It's not the filter's fault.
Lasted only one month!

This filter lasted only one month and then water pressure was down to a trickle at all faucets and appliances. I used it for my whole house water filter, following a 20 micron sediment filter for rainwater system. Only ran 1-2 thousand gallons through. Definitely would not buy again.

This filter has exceeded our expectations. We have lots of iron in our well water and have had problems in the past with rust stains and smelly water. We have tried other filters and had to change them after just a month or two. This filter worked well for 5 months and we only changed it because the water pressure went down a bit. We will definitely keep buying this filter.
