I have owned and used this can often for more than a year... I think. I use it to carry ammo to and from shooting range. I agree with most of the positive reviews left by others as to features and merits of this product. Here is my ONLY gripe big enough to loose a star. When filled to the rim with boxes of ammo of various calibers, the handle often pops out as I carry it. When this happens, the can falls to the ground and my son enhances his vocabulary with a few new swear words. To it's merit, the can never shattered, never broke, nothing cracked yet. I pop the handle back in and resume my voyage between the bench and my car supporting it from the bottom this time. I expect an ammo can to be able to handle a full load without biting the dust and my big toe. This never happens to metal cans. I still give it a four star review as everything else about this can is as good as it states in the description. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy this can.

I am using the box to hold first aid equipment. The box is water proof and large enough to hold 1/2 of the equipment I need to carry. Things fit quite well in the box. It stacks and stays where I need to put the boxes. I do wish the box was larger as I must carry more things then one box will hold. It is water resistant and so far has not leaked when dropped on wet surfaces. It is light weight and takes light abuse on the locking devices. One locking device popped open but the box did not open. I am hoping this brand lasts longer then three months.
I am trying to find stickers to stay on the box as is required. so far they just peel off.

I really like these "cans". Compared to the Plano ammo can, which approaches the price of these from time to time, you get much more storage for the money. Now I do not use these for ammo but for general storage. I use one to keep my vitamins in. Yes it is overkill, but until I find a better, read cheaper solution with similar storage capabilities, I will keep using this.

The other I use to keep my Kreg jig screws in. I have a few thousand in there and it works great for that. I keep it in the garage and with the heat out there I do not know if over time that might be a problem or not. I have only had it out there for this summer so if the plastic breaks down due to the heat I will update my review.

if you want to use this for ammo storage you can store a whole lot of ammo in this can. Because of the bright orange color you will not miss it out in a field.

If you are thinking of getting one, don't hesitate. These are well made and good quality from what I can tell. Much heavier duty than the Plano and more bang for the buck in my opinion.

It is a little larger than I thought it would be, but with the description given I really expected it to be better constructed. The ad stated it was made out of polysterine- if it is, it is not what I had expected. I was thinking of the HD polysterine pallets & a tool box I used to have-they were rigid-this is not. It is not even a HD plastic, of which I Believe it is made from. It is actually along the lines of a Tupperware Container. It says it will hold 30 lbs. or more-it may, but I don't know if the handle or the part of the box it is connected to could stand it when You're mobile-it may be OK for sitting & holding the load, not walking around with it. I must say the one I purchased was from the Amazon "used like new" section so I didn't pay full price so it is probably worth what We gave for it, but it appears that there are some stress lines in the plastic around where the handle connects to the box, so We'll see in Time. It also states that it has a reinforced base, which it does not. I was thinking along the lines of it having the "grid" type extrusions on the bottom but it doesn't-it actually flexes easily by just a slight push of the hand. The cost of it is actually a bit cheaper than a Tupperware container of the same size would be, but I don't know if it is any better. The Best to You And Your's. PawPaw C

These things have been a life saver in keeping my Ammo stored, secured, separated. While it is true they are plastic they hold up well to punishment. Despite being ammo cans these things are great for keeping my kids Legos picked up. I bought two extra ones just so I don't have to step on them in the middle of the night. So I can vouch that they are very versatile and a great buy.
