I love this dish rack. This makes the second one I've purchased for 2 different kitchens. It is larger than the others so it holds many more items. Also, it's stronger and more attractive.

I like this item despite the fact that amazon photo is nice than what I got.. The one I got also has a bit of inconsistency to the finish. Some of the finish is shiner than the rest (some of it looks more like bamboo exterior glossy texture and darker color, most of it is carved up bamboo interior that looks more like wood). So I have to turn that side away from view, towards the wall. I do like the fact that mine is slightly oval - probably related to the above problem since the glossy texture matches up with the short diameter. I think this type of item ...with what appears to be unique personalities... is not really compatible with the idea of an amazon online sale - it's something you'd be better off picking individually on a shelf.

We bought this to replace our IKEA pine folding dish rack. We've tried other bamboo racks before and they're usually so small they don't fit over any drain board. This one is almost the same size as our IKEA one, and much more durable- given that it's bamboo. My only complaint is that the width the top opens isn't as wide as our previous rack and it can be difficult to put some large pots and bowls up there. I would still probably buy it again as they seem so hard to come by!
