Great barrel. Bought for my mother in low, who wanted to make pickled cabbage. I installed a small faucet in the bottom so that it could easily be drained, and it works like a charm.
Really nice to store emergency preps!

This drum has been great for my emergency preps. It has a nice screw on lid and I pack my preps in mylar bags and toss them in. I really love the screw on lid it gives me great access. I just was not sure about using it for water but I have done it I just used a plastic liner and filled with water when we had really bad storms. Over all I am really satisfied I have used it weekly adding to it for over a year with rice and beans and it has been great!

Tough 3mm thick plastic. No bubbles or mold defects. Very tough. Makes a great compost bin, and I'd consider it tough enough to resist wildlife.
