Wouldn't Sing
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•May 20, 2018
Pretty bowl, enough to fit in the palm of your hand, looked just the picture, made a nice sound when struck but would not sing, the stick was not smooth over the edge of the bowl and several people attempted to get it to 'sing', to no avail, including a friend that is a sound healer at a leading spa. Sadly, we had to return it, I'll definitely buy the next one I see in person so I can make sure the sound quality from it works
Beautful, calming hum!

This bowl is absolutely beautiful. The paint isn't 100% "perfect" as others mentioned, but these are made by hand so what do you expect? I love the way it looks! I was able to make it sing on my first try, and was able to sustain a gorgeous hum for a really long time. The hum lingered for a good 20 seconds (give or take) after I stopped circling with the mallet. It's a beautiful tone that - at least for me - calmed and centered my mind increasing my focus. Even my pup was lulled by the sound and began dozing off next to me as I was playing it. It's definitely worth the money, especially for beginners. For those saying they can't produce a good hum or any hum at all, I would suggest looking up "how-to" videos on youtube. There's definitely a certain technique to it and it requires a gentle, steady hand. Happy humming everyone! <3

I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. This is my first ever singing bowl to own, and it's a powerful tool for both focusing to begin meditation and to experience the calming and healing effects of sound vibration. For the price, I am shocked and thrilled at the quality of product.
My bowl came in a neat storage box, and looks like the one shown on the product listing (although it seems that not every bowl will be the same, based on other reviews).
It came with the mallet and the cushion to rest it on. My bowl sings in the key of B.
If you're curious about getting your first bowl, this is a great option.

Clear, Rich Tone and Satisfactory Price

This is my first Tibetan singing bowl. I've considered getting one in the past, but I've found most of them to be expensive and I didn't have enough of a desire to get one if it cost me $80. I found the DharmaObjects singing bowl and was satisfied with the price. I didn't think I was going to be getting anything good, but I am surprised and happy with my purchase. One concern I have is that the cushion it sits on is sort of fragile. Over time it may start ripping. However, the bowl itself makes a rich and loud sound perfect for anyone who wants to meditate with it, use it for films or even as a musical instrument.
