My family looks forward to the mulled cider I make each Christmas Eve. This was very good and I would buy again but it's milder than my regular mix.

Just a heads up, this wasn't what we were expecting. This is a soluable powder mix - we thought we were getting actual spicing that go in a mulling ball. It did taste fine though

We use this with a bottle Farm House cider wine from Old Mill Winery in TN. Mix a pack of Crown Mulling spice with 6 cups of apple juice, and the whole bottle of the hard cider wine in a crock pot and turn on low for about 2 hours. Not only does it make your house smell great, the tase is even better. A warm wine drink will have you making more.

Just about the best mulling spice you can find - and even if you don't add it to wine for wassail or cider for spiced cider - you can simmer some in plain old water to release a wonderful spicy aroma into the air.
Did not dissolve

The flavor was ok (though I've had better), but the mixture did not seem to dissolve. The directions were followed exactly and the drink boiled for quite some time as well as being stirred, but the powder never fully dissolved. So while drinking the mulled cider, clumps of the mulling spices were floating in the cup.
