Good beach grill!

Perfect grill to take to the beach instead of hauling down a Weber. We made hooks out of coat hangers to hang the grill inside the beach fire pit which was about 4 inches larger in diameter. It worked great! If it came with hooks to allow the grill to fit larger pits I would give it 5 stars. We barbqued for a large beach party and the 24 inch size was great!

I actually bought this as a cover for my burn barrel. It's a good thing I didn't plan on cooking on it - the first time I put it on top of my barrel - it did some extreme warping - it took on more of a dome shape. It works great for what I needed it for but might not recommend it for your grill.
Admittedly it was not meant for a burn barrel but the heat that it was subjected to it wont be much different than a typical charcoal grill when lighting it with charcoal fluid.

I purchased this item for a camping tripod. We camp a lot and do most of our cooking on the fire. We had a standards webber type grill and thought it too small so when we found this one we jumped at it! It is big enough for 2.5 pounds of thick sliced bacon which allows my husband to eat with us instead of cooking the second batch. We loved it so much we built a tripod just like ours for our daughter and her soon to be husband for their camping trips.
