Is it good? Is it bad? Who knows, the tuning key broke for me!

The harp itself seems to work great for the few strings I could tune, though I'm biased, it's my first harp. What I could have used was a harp tuning key that actually worked past ten strings. Turning the key while it was on a peg resulted in the wood of the key moving, but the peg remaining still, as did the strings. So now I have a harp that I can't tune.
Maybe the harp itself deserves a 5 star review. I wouldn't know. I can't tune any more of the strings to be able to play it properly to find out.

Great instrument. I have been a musician since age 8. I studied classical guitar for 20 years, and I have continued to play for 50 years now. I wanted a new challenge, so I chose the harp. This harp is comfortable to play, even spacing on the strings, nice action, and good tone. A harp stick is a great help. I plan on moving up to the levered harp next year.

I really didn't know what to expect. It looks really simple, but it has great sound. It falls out of tune fairly easily in the beginning, but that is to be expected and is supposed to hold the notes the more it is played. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Going back to the oldest instruments

A harp for the young and old and anyone who thinks they couldn't play one of the oldest instruments in the world. I've been testing it on young people and whether they ever played an instrument or not, they could all play a simple tune they knew in their head within under 20 minutes. How fun is that?
Great harp missing wrench!!
Tasha Thomas✓ Verified Purchase•February 11, 2015
I would have given five stars if not for the fact that my harp did not come with a tuning wrench leaving me unable to tune it the day I got it!! 😩 as for quality of the harp it self!! I LOVE it!! It has a very solid built and very light weight! Nylon stings a huge plus in my opinion! If ur thinking of buying one but don't want to waste it on cheap toy like harps, this is the one!! Just be sure to have a tuning wrench before it comes just in case!!
