Have ~50 year old doors around in my apartment. Clearly, the prior owners never replaced/updated what should be a very simple, basic part. If not the original, what was there looked very close to it (very rough & weathered). I wasn't certain these would fit. Ended up perfect fits. Sturdy & sleek looking too!

This seems to be made more for an outside door, but works fine on the inside door where I have installed it. The wholes did not align with the older latch strike that had been on this particular inside door, so I had to screw one of the screw into a "new" whole. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

We just bought a "new" old house, and its hardware includes at least one of every possible finish sold over the last 60 years. We wanted to change everything out for brushed nickel hardware, but that's an expensive proposition!
These Prime-Line Products strike plates were not only one of the best prices we could find in store or online, but they're decent quality too. Doesn't quite measure up to some of the more expensive brands out there, but can't be beaten for the price. The finish is nice, the screws are good quality, and it matches well with our other brushed nickel hardware.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have approximately 2.5 million more strike plates to install before I can go to bed tonight.
