I am a single mom who loves to kayak with my kiddo but getting a tandem kayak on and off my roof rack of my suv just wasn't realistic by myself, or appealing. I bought a one person Pelican kayak to keep it light and then modified the back with anchors to attach this seat for my daughter on the back. It has great support and my 5 year old was comfortable for the three hours we were out on the ocean last weekend. the backrest sits high so its a lot more comfortable for her.

If you have ever been kayaking without a seat back then you will know that while TONS of fun, your back tends to scream TONS of what the heck's at you!
This is the perfect solution. It's easy to install and remove, and it is VERY comfortable! The only thing missing? A cup holder for the tons of bottled or canned beverages that may grace your kayak.
I purchased two separate models of kayak seats, and this is AMAZING!!
