The price was less than I paid locally during the holidays and the quality was comparable. I make loaves of Norwegian juleKake (Christmas bread) year-round, so I appreciate an out-of-season source.

A little expensive with shipping but this mix is excellent. A spoonful in ice cream is excellent. I keep it in the freezer.

I have taught my American neighbors to love fruit cake, as Australian fruit cake is nothing like the nasty over-sweet concoction that is called fruit cake here in Texas. I have been using a mixture of dried fruits that approximates what I used to make my fruit cake recipe, but I really missed the dried citrus peel I used in Australia. This Old English fruit and peel mix is absolutely perfect and with it I was able to make a fruit cake that tasted just right.

Would highly recommend this. Hard to get where I live, even during holiday season, and this is the first time I have bought online. I use a LOT of glace fruit in the weeks up to Christmas, and this is SO much fresher than the same product & brand I get in the stores. I'll be buying again!
