I had used some of these screw posts years ago and needed just a few but our local office supply did not carry them so I was thrilled to see that they are available on Amazon for a decent price. The stack of papers that I needed to bind was approximately 1" thick and very little information is given as to their grip range. These will work fine and to my surprise, the USPO delivered them to my door on a Sunday afternoon!
For those that might be wondering, The male screw is 3/8" and the female post is 1", yielding a grip range from about 1" to 1 1/4"
I would like to see these offered with a mix of lengths as I am sure that the next time I will need some, these will either be too long or too short.
