My cat approves of this item! It smells great and looks just like the picture. My cat went nuts the moment this package arrived. If I can fight him of giving his blessings to the smudge sticks I might actually get to use it. â˜ºï¸ Great item will be buying again.

Ok so one day my dog stops going to my bedroom and just stares. So I freak out because she is always with in a few feet of me. Paces with me and keeps up all the time. So when your fur baby stops going to your bedroom something is up. That sentinel sent me to research and and Long Island medium and my other spiritual friends tell me to sage. But I don't know how to do this and I go to amazon and buy this. I think we'll it is sterile as it gets. I sage, but I did not do it the right way. The right way is to go to the furthest corner and bring out to window or door. I just went to the 4 corners. After I was done I went to the couch to sleep bc I was a bit freaked out to go back in and it had been three days since I slept there since fur baby would not go in. Well son of a gun when I said we are going to sleep fur baby goes trotting in like nothing after staring at the open door for three days. I am hooked! Sage when people come in your house or anytime you are feeling low. I used to daily but now about every week and sage spray daily. It works if your dog approves.

I recently learned about "smudging" while researching energy cleansing/clearing. I didn't know what to expect but was open to the experience. The sage bundles I received are exactly as pictured. I didn't use a feather or any other equipment. I simply lit the end of a bundle, gave a prayer of intent to clear any negative energy within the room and around myself. I felt better after I did it but what happened within the next 24 hours was nothing short of miraculous. Basically, a trip that I had been planning for several months had fallen through the week before. I was very down about it but the morning after the smudging, a friend contacted me about going on the exact same trip for almost free (she had nothing to do at all with the original trip and barely knew about it). I was off for the experience of a lifetime by that evening. To say that the stars aligned is an understatement!

Now, that is not to say that I've had perpetual miracles happen since then. But I do believe that our environments affect us profoundly and that stagnant energy can be cleared. I use this sage maybe once a week. My husband and kids hate the smell but I think it's earthy and woodsy. I now open plenty of windows/doors and run the ceiling fans before and while I smudge, and always when the family is out of the house. There are smudge sprays that you can buy for places (like offices) where you can't burn sage, but I have found they are nowhere near as effective. I love this ritual so much that I look forward to it every week.

Our house has been kind of dark lately, lots of sadness. I heard burning sage might filter out the negative energy. The price was right on these sicks and I thought I would give them a shot. Can't hurt, right? This bundle of joy lit right up and produced lots of billowy smoke. I cleaned my kitchen while it burned itself out, with hope in my litte domesticated and sometimes super gullible heart. I left the house to pick up my teenager, and realized I smelled like sage... which happens to smell a lot like weed.
I rolled the windows down, blasted the air vents, put on some lotion, and stopped for fast food fries - hoping to mask the smell. Luckily, I didn't have to interract with any adults. Kid hops into car, "Yum! Fries!" He told me about his day, and we had a nice drive home. He stepped into the house and immediately asked, "What is that smell?"
I explained I burned an air freshener, and it kinda smells like weed.
"Mom? How do YOU know what weed smells like?"
Um.... "I don't? This is what I think it probably smells like?" Phew. Crisis averted.
"Sure, mom. Wink wink. I gotcha."
I consider breaking out the Febreze.
Enter second teenager. "Uh, what's with the smell?"
First son, "Mom's smoking weed. But don't ask her about it; she'll tell you it's an AIR FRESHENER."
"I AM NOT SMOKING WEED!"
*teenagers break into laughter*
... a sound that has been vacant for so long, and that I've missed so much.
I'm blaming that laughter on the sage.
