This hose is fantastic!! I purchased the 100 ft., 400 series hose, with the stainless steel fittings. It is very well made! I love that it's drinking water safe, phthalate, and lead free! It is also very easy to carry around because it is so light! I do have to say that it does kink, but I have yet to see a hose that doesn't. I really love the stainless fittings and I'm glad that I decided to pay a little extra for that! Overall, this is a wonderful hose! I want to go outside and water my garden all day long!! LOL! :D

I needed to find a hose that would provide clear, safe drinking water for the birds and animals that might drink from a fountain we were putting into the garden. Normal garden hoses are not safe for people to drink from, and they are equally unsafe for birds, pets, or wildlife. This hose gives pure, safe drinkable water. The unexpected bonus for me is that it is light as a feather to hold, and it's a breeze to take it from one area to another. Can a hose be friendly? Yes! This one follows me around like a puppy. I am a small woman in my seventies, and before I got, this little beauty, watering was a chore. Now it's a delight.
I purchased a 75 foot for the garden and a 25 ft to attach to a soaker hose for trees on the hillside. At same time bought lead-free GreenYard Garden Hose Splitter so the hoses could go in the two directions.

Just received this- so have only a few comments- IS VERY LIGHT which I needed- has lower water pressure as expected but doesn't seem to matter when watering flowers. MOST IMPORTANT HINT: when taking out of box, hose wants to keep in "coiled position" -called Water Right rep- she said to put on nozzle ,fill hose and leave set in full sun for a couple hours - WORKED!! -became "straight" and easy to store- I store my hose in a constant shaded area on mulch in a figure 8 position-- since expensive and small: will store inside garage for the 2-3 freezes we have here in NC each winter--works great so far (one week using) - will update if any other comments.

Before I purchased the Water Right 400 Series Garden Hose, my neighbors were afraid. They used to talk about me. I overheard things like, "Yes, her yard is gorgeous!" "Stay away!" "It's best to just walk on the other side of the street." "There's something seriously wrong with her." and "She scares my kids."

Yes, I'm old and easily irritated. Wrestling with and dragging a heavy hose around my yard just - well - pissed me off! Covered in mud from that old, heavy hose; I wrestled, stomped, bent and twisted wildly as I struggled with it, while at the same time, cussing - loudly - to myself and randomly yelping in pain. Regardless of the pain, I love working in my yard so this show could go on for hours.

There are many things I love about this garden hose. It is so lightweight, it's a breeze to use and doesn't hurt my hands, arms or back. This is actually the second one I've purchased. Two years ago I purchased a 100', in eggplant. I speak from experience when I tell you that, yes, this hose is expensive but it's extremely durable. My purple hose has not faded. It looks as good and performs as well now, as it did on day one. Some people have complained about the water pressure but I don't find it to be a problem. No, it's not a power washer, but with a good hose end sprayer, the pressure is high enough to clean and sweep away loose debris. This lightweight hose is easy on the hose reels, attached to exterior walls of my house, which I certainly appreciate. It's also made in the U.S.A., so that's a big plus - and to me - worth spending a little extra for.

Flexible and good quality. I've had it for two years and it's holding up very well. My one complaint is that it does kink so don't think you're getting a kink-free hose. All-in-all I am happy with the hose, though, and would highly recommend it.
