I laser cut a heart out from them then put the ring inside and took her out to to play cards have a picnic and enjoy some champagne (one of our favorite things to do). she said yes and now we have a child so keep that in mind if you're planning to do the same thing as me

These cards are really awesome. The theming is great. A lot of times, themed playing cards have designs that are either way too over the top, or seem to undermine the traditional style of a standard poker deck too much. I absolutely HATE the decks that just have a giant image printer on a card without any thought put into it, especially if you have to stop and look really hard to know what card and suit you are actually holding..
What I love about these cards is that the Mario influence is high, but they still work great as any standard poker deck. The card backs have a traditional look, with a subtle Mario influence on them that adds up to a really clever and subtle design. The face cards are theme well without being over the top, and I like that. Its tasteful and classy the way it was designed. Even non-fans will enjoy these cards.

The media could not be loaded. I didn't expect these to be plastic cards. The description may say they are but I didn't read through it very carefully. Anyway, when I pulled them out I thought, "what cheap cards, they are so thin and flimsy." Then, I realized they are plastic and I remembered previous cards I've had that are plastic and realized that is how plastic cards feel. I've come to like these cards. The only thing I don't like is that plastic cards are very slippery. You can see how they are slippery in the video. Other than they feel different than normal paper cards and are a little slippery, these cards are great. They look really good and have a really nice plastic case that fastens shut so they don't open and spill out. Great cards at a great price!

These are very nice cards. Normal poker style cards. The case it comes in is top quality. Artwork is nice if you are a Mario fan.

Can you name one person who has at least NOT heard of Mario? Go on, I'll wait! Almost everyone in the modern world has. Even those who do not play video games. So imagine my delight finding these as something to add to my collection featuring everyone's favorite Italian plumber. His iconic moustache and trademark red M cap and overalls adorns everyone of the king cards as well as the card backs. Mario is joined by numerous Mushroom Kingdom citizens including Princess Peach, his brother Luigi, Wario, Waluigui, Bowser as the jokers, koopa troopas, Donkey Kong, boos, you name it. EVERY card has a beautiful illustration on it. These would make great stocking stuffers and just something nice to add to a gaming memorabilia or playing card collector. My only gripe is that they are more pricy than even some premium plastic cards as they are Japanese imports. Also with that said, the card paper used seems to be a bit more flimsy than say, standard Bicycle or Hoyle branded playing cards. Overall however, I would say that you should DEFINATLY get ya a pack of these. :)
