If you despise the plastic spill inducing disposable contraptions posing as gas cans these days. Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy this can! It does exactly what it's intended to do and IMHO, does it better than ANY other can I've ever used. Oh and... it doesn't leak or generate spills like all the plastic junk I've tried over the years! I ordered a red 5 gallon with a 1" spout (faster pour) and a green 2 gallon with a 5/8" spout for mixed gas/oil. I like them so much, I ordered another red 2 gallon with a 5/8" spout. It requires a little hand strength to open the filler cap but I expect that's because the spring is new. However, once you have it filled... it couldn't be easier to fill small engines without spilling a single drop of gas.

I, like many others hate those cheap plastic gas containers. Had a 1 gallon for my leaf blower and would get gas on my hands handling the darn thing. I Needed a 5 gal. can for my new riding lawn mower and bought a justrite from a local dealer. I really like it as you can easily control the gas going into the gas tank.. I wanted to replace the 1 gallon after seeing how good this 5 gallon is. Looked on Amazon and found it $30Excellent can cheaper and bought this 2 gallon and love it. Lot of folks on here wonder where it is made. On the box it came in from the factory reads " proudly made in the USA with USA and Imported parts". The can is heavy duty and the filler cap is spring loaded.

Great gas can. No leaks, no fumes. Hated spending the $ for just a gas can, but I am so tired of plastic cans leaking and hard to use safety features. Although it is easy to dispense gas into the lawn mower, I would suggest put a couple of drops of oil on the silver handle pivot point. You will notice a huge difference in how easy it is to operate the handle.It doesn't come with a spout cap so I will have to get one or figure something out, to keep spiders and bugs from crawling in. This is a lifetime can, just like they used to make.

This is an excellent product. I have used plastic, leaky gas cans for years. I got fed up and bought two NATO style jerry cans that work very well and I am happy with them, but they were expensive for the well constructed cans. I bought this for premix (oil and gas) for my chain saws last year. This can has been leak free and very easy to use for pouring into saws and other power equipment. The spring loaded stopper is good for stopping the flow and Just(the)rite moment to avoid overflow or spillage. I later bought two 5 gallon Justrite cans for diesel. I would buy this product again and recommend it.
