Key features

  • 23 CUP WATER DISPENSER: With a slim tank and no-drip spigot, ZeroWater's filtered water dispenser is great for office or home use. Pour a glass of filtered, clean tasting water while the reservoir keeps filtering, includes a water quality meter.
  • FIVE STAGE WATER FILTRATION: Unlike many water filters & pitchers, ZeroWater filters use 5 stages of filtration, to bring you cleaner, better tasting water. Instead of carbon filtering only, our filters use Ion Exchange Technology to reduce contaminants.
  • NOT AN ORDINARY WATER FILTER: ZeroWater filters filter water in 5 stages, are NSF certified to reduce lead and other heavy metals. Zerowater removes 99.6% of total dissolved solids, 2X more than the leading brand (tested by independent lab).
  • GET MORE OUT OF YOUR WATER: Remove more impurities from your water with ZeroWater's unique, 5 stage filter system. With a variety of options, you can have cleaner water anywhere, from pitchers, bottle filtration systems, or portable on-the-go cup filters.
  • GET THE LEAD OUT: ZeroWater filters are the only pour-through filters NSF Certified to remove chromium & lead. Our pitchers, tumblers, & dispensers remove virtually all solids for the purest tasting water.

Priced Well and Great Storage

Our house uses well water as our supply and our water is good. However, our water can be a little funny in late summer when our water level is low. I use this water filter to filter our water to ensure clean and tasty water is on hand at all times. Plus, it holds almost 1.5 gallons so don't have to constantly filter your water. We also have filtered water on the door of our fridge, which does not come close to being as good of quality as the water filtered by the ZeroWater filters. This is my second system over the last 7 years - will probably always have one.
Excellent!

I think other water purification products are too expensive, but I know how important it is to drink filtered water, so a friend of mine recommended this Zero water pitcher. Wow!! I was floored by how good the water tastes! I'm obsessed with the water meter that comes with it. This water tested "0" as promised. I also tested Poland Springs (43), Dasani (22) and my own tap water (91). Then I took the meter to work (a few towns away), the "filtered" water in the break room read 131 & the tap water there read 348 😱.

I keep this on my counter because I like room temperature water, I just slide a towel to bring it to the edge to fill my glass. I taped the lid down mostly because I do not trust one of cats to keep his paws out of it!

Bottom line-get this, it's great & affordable!
Better than premium bottled water!

UPDATE: so I started having problems with the filter really slowing down to the point of barely filtering water. I reached out to zero water and they told me that it's possible for filters to get trapped air bubbles/pockets. To get rid of them, remove the filter from the dispenser then squeeze and shake it while it's on its side (not up and down). Then put it back in. I did this and it really did work. The filter is rapidly filtering the water. And yes, we absolutely love this water! Better than the water delivery.

Holy cow! We've been getting premium bottled water delivered for years and never thought to try this out until we started having trouble getting our bottled water actually delivered. We looked for alternatives to getting water delivered and decided to give this a try and I'm so glad we did.

What we love about this is they give you a meter to test the water so you can be sure the water is free of bad stuff. As you can see, we tested the premium water we were getting delivered and were shocked to see it wasn't zero! 😱 We were paying decent money to have water delivered and couldn't believe what we saw. We then put this premium water through the filter and then got a zero result! 😱😱 We also put cheap bottled water and tap water through the filter and got zero readings on them all. We've now had the pitcher up and running for several weeks, use it all day and we still haven't had to change the filter yet.

I can't believe we didn't find this sooner. Not only are we saving money by not buying bottled water but now we don't have the hassle of waiting for water delivery. We now use our tap water and just run it through the filter. I can honestly say we drink more water now than we ever did before. Sometimes water has a weird taste but no more with this system. We're never going back!
What it filters!

I wanted to try this. I have a Lifestraw countertop filter that I really like. The only drawback is the spigot. After a time you have to be watchful of dripping since the spring weakens. Mine is over a year old and I've used it constantly! Very impressed with the scope of what it filters. But decided to try the zero water. My observations:
Lifestraw very substantial product
Zero Water lid/top is flimsy I doubt it will hold up
Lifestraw holds 17 cups
Zero Water 23
Filtering
Lifestraw filters all the same things as Zero Water plus a whole host more things (such as amoebas which cause dysentery).
Zero Water meter does not fit on the unit as shown it's to big for the slot
Zero Water's meter shows 000 for its water but reads the same for my Lifestraw. Is my meter faulty?
Zero Watee filters cost more and filter less than my Lifestraw filters
All in all the Zero Water unit is ok and I will use it for an extra water for cooking etc. But I find I am happier with the scope of filtration from my Lifestraw.
I have reordered a new Lifestraw filter and will retire the old one for back up.
Very Nice Filter but Very Very Expensive ...

UPDATE : 01/07/2013
Got second round with the zero water filter ( 3sets ) which I purchased from AMAZON,
Not likely the first review, the water on top tank has been filtering well , not slow down the filtering,
The water on the top may be go through to down around 3-4 hours ( at the firs review, took 6-8 hours )
Not sure how long does stay last with the same condition I described below ...
After filtered water, the taste is good if the value is less than 006 ...
The review pint is increased from 3 to 4 ... not happened slow filtering at this time ...
So, I will use it for a while and review it again ...

Place : San Jose / Los Gatos boarder , 95124 , CA
House hold : 3 , 2 Adult + Age 17 kid
Tap Water TDS level : 213
Start to use the zero filter : 09/14/2012
First filer exceed 006 : 09/30/2012
Duration for a filter : 17days
Strange taste of the water : No at all , even exceed 006... I did not check the taste at level 216 yet...

>>> update at 10/03 20;31PM :
the taste is something different than the usual filtered water, something sour ? like taste ...
I stopped to use it and change the filter soon ...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>update

Zero TDS : Yes
Any issue during using the first filter : Yes, when we started to use the filter, it had no problem, the tap water went through the filter
( took 4-5 hours to finish from the top ) . 1 week later, we could see the tap water on the top was alway remaining if the water level filled around 1/3 at the bottom tank. We checked the filter and made sure the packing also OK and any air blocking issue at the filter, but we could not find out any issues ... no way to fixed...
then at 09/30/2012 , We could see TDS value becomes 006, and wait how long can be taken to up to the same level of the tap water... it is today : 10/03/2012.
We know the filter needs to replace and I have to buy from the local Target ASAP ....

issues :
1. The tap water on the top reserver seems remaining around 1/3 or less if the water level exceeds to 1/3 level at bottom tank. when we need to have water more than 1/3 of the bottom reserver , then can be the issue.
2. The filter life is so short : 17 days , not exceeds to 3 weeks at TDS level 213 of Tap water.
The cost of the filter is around 15us$ @ Amazon, assumed to use the filter for 25 gallons ( as indicated by Zero Water )
then 15( 1 pc filter price ) /25(25 gallons for a filter ) x 5 (gallons water) = 3 $ + tap water cost (trivial) + dispenser cost ( may be trivial ) = 3.x us$ compare to 2 us$ for gallon water ....

Uhhhhh.... it seems little expensive the zerowater usage here in San Jose, if the tap water value is over 200 ... I guess...

I will do more experiment the Zero water and measure the water volume how much we put into the dispenser with a filter then...
