THIS SHOULD BE FOR THE 1B/30, NOT BLACK. I go back and forth between 3 and 4 stars for one reason; the color. I ordered a 1B/30, and it came as a 1B/30. It came quickly and the texture is great. I've worn Freetress in the past, but not this particular style. The last whole lace one ordered, Sapphire, had more brown, but the streaks almost looked costume-ish. Not this one. On one side, it looks completely black, then underneath, you see the brown streaks. The other side, you see a few brown streaks here and there; it's almost like the machine didn't evenly distribute the color around the wig; it's mostly a very black wig, which I didn't want. The one reason I like the Equal Whole Lace brand is this: I needed a wig that allows my scalp to breath. My absolute favorite wig, Charlie, has a full cap, and just wasn't good for my scalp. This is full mesh (not real lace). It's extremely lightweight, and very easy to manage. They say you can curl it, but it's basically "shake and go". If they made Charlie with the same all-over mesh, I would wear it forever. For that reason, I will buy Freetress whole lace wigs again, just not in this color.

Fabulous. I had one of these that I had bought locally years ago. They never have it in stock. I was elated to find it on Amazon (thank you!). If you are a wig wearer, you will appreciate all the things about this wig. First off it is very light on the head...can part just about anyway and you can use a curling iron safely up to 400F. Major plus is that despite being synthetic it does not get rough and tangled on the ends. If it starts showing obvious sign of friction on the ends, you can use the curling iron to smooth the hair back out. Can be worn out of the box, but may need some trimming to suit your style, since the style can be very BIG and Bold--Overall great buy!

I did something different with this wig. Rolled sections of the hair with white rods, dipped in boiling water, unwound in a spiral, and put hair grease on each curl, thinned it out and got loads of compliments. I know manufacturers advise against adding product, but for some reason the hair grease I think make it look even more natural. The color I have however is either a 4/30 or 4. I think 1Bs look more natural, so think curling the hair (& adding grease) make the light color more natural.
