Can never go wrong with Xikar. Lifetime warranty, with on the spot, no questions asked replacement at ANY retailer. The punch works very well, only removing the surface skin offering a perfect drag.

I bought a Xikar because they're supposed to be among the best. While the blade may be sharp, the design of this cutter is awful.
The front part of this cutter pulls forward, popping out the blade. When you push the front back again the blade is supposed to retract and the little piece of cigar pop out. It doesn't work. The blade gets stuck and the cigar bit stays where it is. I have to put my finger on the blade - ouch - and push it in manually and/or dig out the cigar bit with a fork.
Is this why I bought a Xikar?
