This is a good product. My rabbit, named Pizza, likes it. Unfortunately, the little hooks/tabby things to secure it to the side of the cage pop off easily. One accidentally got thrown away when we were emptying the pan (I was not willing to fish around through the discarded grossness to find it). The remaining hook falls off easily. Luckily Pizza isn't too wild, so it sits in the corner without much movement. Also, we have had it about a month and the wire is starting to rust a little. Could be because Pizza likes to sit on it constantly. I think he believes it is his "soapbox" and he looks around judging people from it.

The item itself is durable and arrived in great shape. The fact that it clips to the cage bars is a very big added plus!

As a first-time rabbit owner, however, I wish it had come with some training ideas, or ideas about what to put where. For example, should you leave the grates open? Should you put the bedding material on top to camouflage the litter box? Should you just put absorbent material at the bottom?

Our family just kind of went with our gut and referred back to the Amazon product link, but it would be nice to have some "getting started" ideas printed on the sticker. I would trust the advice of the designer/manufacturer thinking there's a reason the grate must be designed the way it is.

Because this is a corner unit, our bunny ended up using this 60% of the time, but still using the other corner 40% of the time. In hindsight, I would have bought a rectangular unit that would cover one whole end of the cage.

Great product and would recommend, but don't expect training ideas or suggested ideas for use to come with this product. Research first!

The design is just fine for Rabbits and the grate is the greatest I just wish the pan was made of light stainless as the calcium from rabbits after cleaning pan this calcium build up has to be removed by a spoon full of vinegar and leave set a few minutes then rinsed and this had to be done so often other wise AO K and the choice of (2) sizes is handy as larger Rabbits need large pan .
My 4 Lb rabbit if she has a choice she hits the large size and the smaller version stays empty .

It was recommended to get a large one because the smaller one was TOO small for adult guinea pigs, but this one is pretty huge. The piggies wouldn't urinate in it so I took it out of the cage for a few weeks. I finally put it back in after noticing they were urinating in their sleep area. Now I use this for their sleep area WITHOUT the metal grate and I stuff if it with CareFresh bedding. Above this, I hook the Cuddle Cup to the cage, turned upside down, to make it a hide-away. This works ok. They like it and I think they are urinating in it a little bit. They still mostly prefer to poop on the fleece though.

It works! My 3 rats all use this tray, so I can't fault the product. I found the Grate and added edge-quard to be unnecessary for the tray to work, so I am using the product without them (could have saved some money by buying the other model - Ware Lock-n-litter tray that doesn't come with these removable parts). I knew before buying that I would get a random "color," but was a little disappointed to get a white one, after seeing so many nice colors here in the product photos. The white/gray is just not very fun to look at, but it's a litter box, so maybe it's not necessary to make it a focal point.
