I absolutely love this Raspberry Preserve, hands down the best! I wasn't a big fan of peanut butter and jelly until I discovered Tiptree Raspberry Preserve. A friend who travels to the UK often introduced me to this brand of jams / spreads. I truly believe that people do not know what a black currant is until they have tried this brand - it is amazing. Yes, it is sweet, but it doesn't have that cloyingly sweet, overbearing corn syrup taste that American jams have. It tastes more like concentrated fruit. The flavor is somewhere between grape and blackberry - absolutely mouthwateringly delicious.

Don't know why I can't find black currant jam anywhere here in Texas? It's good in rice pudding, on toast or just a jam butty. This is one of the better brands.
