After purchasing several different types and the flexible hoses and ...as seen on tv hoses.. I was about to go back to the heavy old green ones. But found this and decided to give it a try. So glad i did. I love it, my husband is quite pleased and our hose gets a tremendous amount of use, more than once a day and dragged up to 80-90 feet around corners as well.. it is lightweight and and doesnt kink. I hope it lasts, I will follow up, it has been a bout a month, tho some of the other hoses didnt last this long. Also, if you dont turn the spigot off when not in use, this hose does not expand near the sprayer (like a water balloon as some others do) and evenutaully expload and split. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also purchased the red firemans hose and couln't be more pleased wth that as well

Perhaps there is something I was supposed to do? In any event, this hose does not allow coiling at all. It's a real fight. I bought it for that purpose so that is why I'm giving it low stars. As a regular hose, it is flexible and is easy to handle. However, there were hoses at my local store that would do that.
Update: the manufacturer called me and there was something I was supposed to do. They recommended coiling it from the nozzle back to the spout side and that made it pretty easy to coil up. This was what I was looking for. I'll see how it holds up over this summer and may come back to give it five stars. It is very easy to use once I get beyond the coiling issue.

AWESOME HOSE! I got so tired of wrangling my regular hoses in sub zero temperatures to water my livestock. I looked online and decided to try this one. OMG it makes chores so much easier! This hose is always flexible. So easy to hook up and move around to the water tanks. Then after I am done watering I unhook it and it is so light it makes draining it very easy. I am disabled and this hose is a miracle for me. Our temps have been below freezing now for 6 weeks. A few days we had -10 and it was a dream to use.
I think he mentioned the original hose ends are a bit weak and there is a better connector. Agreed

We now own 2 75' Flexzillas. After watching a contractor review of this hose which he uses for a concrete company....it was clear this hose is durable. I think he mentioned the original hose ends are a bit weak and there is a better connector. Agreed. The first hose is about a year old and the male threaded end popped out. Put on the reusable thread and clamp style hose end and it is like a new hose again. These hoses simply do not kink and are lightweight. Granted the natural self coil shape that keeps from kinking can be a bit of a fight when rolling the hose back into the storage. Best hose we ever had for household garden application.
