I'm not so concerned with the 'glow' aspect of the balls, I bought this as a 'Cat Toy'.
While my cats like watching the balls go flying around, (and bouncing off things), I think they more enjoy watching 'me' go fetch the balls after I go through the 10 balls that come with this.
Actually only 9 now... Already lost one! I'll come across it 'someday', but in the meantime, (until my order of extra balls arrive), I'm getting more exercise than my cats are!
I would had preferred that the balls were colored like a, 'bright orange', to make them easier to find.
Trying to make balls (or anything), that, 'glow in the dark', is not a proven, 'long lasting' technology yet.

Broke in a day

We own a few of these and often play hide & seek with kids as young as 3. Pumps harder than some but the 3 yr old kids have NO issue with them. The balls get smashed easily but you can just blow in them to pump them back up. Doesn't glow very bright but works for us!
