Worked perfectly
C. Scott•August 3, 2017
These jugs worked great. I ordered 2, and neither one leaked at all. FWIW.. the breather caps *do not* leak when in use. Once the fuel starts flowing, just open then about a quarter turn until you hear air coming in.
Fast and Easy way to Fuel the Boat
John R•April 26, 2017
I use three of these jugs to bring fuel down to my 18 foot bow rider. I added a 3 foot extension tube to the hose so it goes nicely down into the fuel tank. Easy to use and fill up. You do have to be a little careful when you begin fueling or a few drops will come out of the vent . Just tilt it up slowly until the first pint or so is gone. I had a little leaking around the where the hose screws in, but fixed it with tefflon tape that can be purchase anywhere.

We were using those gas cans from the big box stores and spilling gasoline all over the place while fueling our mowers. The VP Motorsport jug is a great improvement over cans with govt mandated safety features that do not work.
We screwed a 3/4 inch PVC threaded nipple into the hole on top then added a threaded elbow and another threaded nipple as shown in the pictures. The threaded cap screws right on for a tight fit. Open the vent and pour away. Five gallons drain in a fraction of the time of our old gas cans and with a LOT less spillage. The large cap is easy to remove and reinstall and hasn't leaked yet. We were so pleased with our first jug, we ordered two more. They arrived promptly without damage.
The large handle and the shape of the bottom provide secure control while pouring.
No reservations, we are pleased with these jugs for our purposes!

Great cans...
Zoo Keeper•January 15, 2017
Great cans, can hold up to 6 gallons (US) and still be below the vent cap, assuming the gas pumps give an accurate reading.
Due to the large size of the main caps they need to be very tight to prevent leaks, some cans more so than others, I have 4 of these, 3 red for gas and one yellow for diesel.

Outstanding fuel storage can/jug
G Franklin•October 19, 2016
This fuel jug is well made. The seams are trimmed and the handle is smooth and is wide so you can use with gloves. The jug tapers in the middle making it easy to hold without slippage and there is a nice handle indent on the bottom of the jug making it easier to pour and control. I travel with them laying on their side in my trunk and I have had no spillage (assuming I tightened everything.)
I always keep 5 gals of fuel in my shed and I've never had any contamination (but you should always rotate stored gasoline fuel supplies... gas has a limited usable shelf life), spills or gas orders. My last jug lasted over 10 years and only had to be replaced because I damaged it.
