Sound great on spruce top classical.

I use these on a Ramirez 130 Anos spruce top. Sound great; not too bright. Hannabach offers many tension options, allowing you to select the tension that fits you best.

I bought two packages of these strings. In the first package, the 6th string was frayed and unraveled. In the second package, there was no 4th string. It would appear that Hannabach has very poor quality controls.

I usually play Savarez strings but thought I'd give these a try. The strings arrived quickly and brand new so my opinion on the product is absolutely no reflection on the seller. I found the strings to have a weak, almost tinny, sound even after breaking in for a couple of weeks. I thought that because they cost a lot that that would indicate a superior product. I was hoping for something really special but was disappointed. I have a luthier made $5,000 classical guitar.
