A must have for your DIY workbench.
Axel L.October 13, 2016
Too many resistors, can you ever have too many. Almost a hundred values, what a rainbow. Very nice plastic zipper bags with values printed on them so if you prototype something and take it apart you can restock your parts. Only 'dislike' is the legs are so thin, but I don't think anyone makes them with thicker wire anymore. The think wire sometimes causes grief with solder-less breadboards. Only thing I might change is more of the most used values, like 220, 330, 1K 10K.
A great kit to get the home electronics maker started

Exactly what I needed to help stock up my growing home hobby electronics workshop.

If you are getting into making and building your own electronics and need to stock up on the basics, make sure you pick up one of these Resistor Kits. Joe has put together a perfect selection of high quality resistors to stock up and get you started.

From here you can just replenish your most commonly used materials, or place a bulk order of a particular item if you are doing a big run of something.

Joe really does know what new makers need.
Never be missing an odd size again!

I'm always missing a single component for a build. It's usually an unusual component value that I can't even find on spare circuit boards, like 3ohm. Seriously, who just happens to find a 3ohm resistor in their pile of e-waste these days?

That's where this kit comes into place... There's even 0ohm resistors in here, just in case you need ajumper that has a 5 bar color code. OK, well the 0ohm is only one bar... but still! It's within 1%!

All joking aside, this is a great kit for the value, especially if you find yourself stymied because you're missing a more esoteric value.
but the selected lots I tested and counted are perfect, and all worked

Everything is here just as described. I didn't count it all, but the selected lots I tested and counted are perfect, and all worked, but as with anything you may find a faulty item here or there, but so far I didn't and I ordered All 3 sets from Joe Knows! He puts it all nice and neatly together and saves you money by saving your time from having to look for things, and it takes up a very small amount of space. Thank you for putting this great collection together and categorizing it very nice and neatly for me. Highly recommended! Shipped extremely fast!
Excellent addition to the electronics toolkit

I bought this awhile back and it's been amazingly useful just for the simple organization that I would never have done myself. No more little drawers filled with 20 different size resistors! Plus, twice, I've had repairmen here stumped for a LONG TIME with some problem and after I perused the repair manual found that a specific sized resistor jumped accordingly was used to debug the problem. In under a minute I had the right item and resolved the issue. Every hobbyist should have this set.
