The design for Excel Ball Joint Swivel Vise is ok but the vice is the point farthest away from the ball and in a lever the point farthest from the fulcrum has the most influence. After putting minimal pressure on a piece with a blade the Excel Ball Joint Swivel Vise the Excel Ball Joint Swivel Vise broke at the ball making it impossible to tighten.

I'm a sculptor and needed a ball-joint vise to enable me to move my sculpture to different angles for working. This clamps to my sculpting stand and my wood base in the vise. Works well for my smaller table-top sized work.
