Stopped the need to fight the steering wheel

We had a steering stabilizer on our Class C but it wasn't adequate. We were constantly fighting the steering wheel to the point that our joints hurt and it was scary driving in heavy traffic. Problem solved. We still get a little push from tractor trailers as they pass but it's once and done (and you can see it coming in your mirrors)- no more constant back and forth motion.

I have a 33 foot Class C RV that we purchased new. The rig came with a 1" front sway bar, and a VERY undersized steering control, that did absolutely nothing for stabilizing the steering or front end on a windy day.
Prior to installing this Saf-T-Plus Steering Control, it was common for the steering wheel to see-saw back and forth as we drove down the road, and that was with little to no wind. If I was driving down the highway, it was common to get a gust of wind as I approached an overpass that would nearly blow me out of my lane. Multiply that effect if a semi was passing at the same time. White knuckle driving at its finest.
After installing the Saf-T-Plus along with a heavy duty Hellwig front sway bar, the front end is now solid. I can relax as I drive down the highway, with one hand on the steering wheel vs the two handed death grip that was needed before the installation. Approaching an overpass feels like a gentle nudge vs the huge shove that it used to be. Passing semi's pose no threat, either. The rig drives down the road, straight and true, with no see-sawing on the steering wheel. If I had to compare how the RV drives after the Saf-T-Plus and sway bar installation, it feels like I'm driving my pick up truck. And that was in a 20 to 25 MPH side wind.
RV manufacturers know what these rigs are like to drive, and they continue to shove them out the door as fast as they can. Saf-T-plus and the heavy duty sway bar should be standard equipment from the manufacturer.

Easy to install and makes a world of difference. I drove my Class C home 1200 miles after purchasing it and it would wander all over the road. I installed the Safe-T-Plus and just completed a 3000-mile trip and it fells like a totally different motorhome.
