I may never have to purchase another sifter again. I love the plastic construction of this which means it isn't going to immediately rust if I ever need to wash it. I also love that the crank handle can be changed to accomodate right handed people like me, or left handed people like my children.

I have an old metal sifter without a lid or bottom seal. I make my own laundry detergent and needed something to sift my ingredients finer than how they come out of their packaging. I really liked that this has a lid and bottom seal to keep the powder I am sifting from floating out in the air. It's a nice small size so doesn't get too heavy but as some of the other reviews state, the handle since it is removable for right or left hand use, does detach sometimes while sifting. Not a big problem, you just have to stop and put it back on. Otherwise, nice quality material and seems pretty durable.

You can just store the mortar and pestle or the spare coffee grinder in the garage. Please note, this product will perform better if stored in its original box in a high, out of reach cabinet, where sight and time cannot intervene.

I love that you can switch the crank handle to either side. I'm right handed and can use it and my husband is left handed and can use it. I like that it has a lid so you can cover while you sift. Also a bottom to set it on so you don't get flour on the counter. Easy to clean and being able to take the crank handle off makes it easier to store in my drawer.
