6'1, 180lbs and 7.5 hat size and this fits snug to loosely around the neck and chin. Needed something to wear under my helmet when commuting on motorcycle in cold mornings. Works great for substantially reducing the cold wind/air that blow in from neck, sides and vents. Keeps your chin, cheek and face substantially warmer and combined with the benefit of greatly reducing the wind chilling your neck and chin makes it a game changer. This Balaclava definitely works as described but for those of us who wear glasses, there is always a need to continue to adjust it to keep from fogging. The nose fit is why I didn't give it a five star rating, it isn't quite right so I have to breath through my mouth to keep fogging down.

I love the product. I have been very sensitive to cold wind hitting my face & is very allergic to several fur caps with high lint. This balaclava offers excellent protection from cold wind and has absolutely no lint problems. Plus this doesn't have the synthetic (plastic material) feeling that is usually associated with other lint-less snow caps..

Top is thin, but warm lycra material, fits well under bike helmet. Face mask is neoprene outside, fleece inside. This is the weak part of the item in that the mask is a bit too large. There is a gap between the the material and my face/mouth, allowing moisture to form inside the mask from exhaled air. The neck gaiter is thick fleece and works very well. All in all, this does the intended job, but would work better if the face mask portion was smaller or if there was an adjustment strap to pull it tight against my mouth.
