Junk, flimsy, so mad I didn't return this ASAP

Looks nice but not at all sturdy >: (
The wire crate is so flimsy that I can almost bend the 'bars' with my mind. The wood side posts don't sit in place well and shift and move anytime the crate is bumped. There is a front wood slat that is supposed to be held in place by magnets (I guess) but it falls off all of the time. I'm super disappointed... I spent a lot of money on an honest to God piece of junk.
It's basically a sofa table.
DON'T DO IT!!! KEEP LOOKING!!!

This is basically a slide together frame to cover a dog crate to create the illusion of a piece of furniture. Don't be fooled. Nothing holds the frame together. It's a simple slide Tab A into Slot B. Everytime you move it be prepared to reassemble. The end cap to cover the access to the removable tray was clearly included for the manufacturer's amusement. It simply does not stay on. Go ahead and throw it away with the redt of the packing material. The frame is not quitet balsa but it's not mdf either. It is very light and scratches easily. The crate is constructed of a slightly greater gauge wire than a quality clothes hangar. It's not what you'll get from your local pet supply store. Amazon.com is giving me a 10% nuisance refund because they are awesome but I'm still out two hundred bucks. I'll kerp the frame and mod it so it stays together and I'll spend another $150 on a quality crate. Here's what it looks like after one week housing my 7 yr old crate trained basset. Don't buy this. Seriously.
Furniture look with cage feel

I Bought the Med cage for my 29 pound Boston Terrier. This size is perfect for him, he has tons of room and it is an increase in size to the crate I purchased for him as a puppy. The cage was easy to put together and its basically a standard metal cage that most of you have right now with wood inserts that surround it and cover it . I purchased this cage because we wanted something that looked nice in our house while not totally surrounding our dog with wood. Other wood cages i searched for seamed too furniture like and they in-cased the dog with walls of wood. Our dog likes to poke his nose and paws through the cage. This cage met both those criteria as it looks like furniture, but still has the cage feel for the dog.. I also like the fact that the dog is in no contact with the wood while in the cage, so therefore he cannot chew it while in the cage.. People in other reviews stated that their dogs bent the metal bars and injured themselves and while yes i have to agree that the metal cage part is not as strong as the one in our old cage, If you have a well trained dog who was trained that the cage is his home and sleeping area this should not be an issue. If you have a dog that you let chew and destroy things then yes this could be an issue as i can see the metal cage part being destroyed. I also like that this cage has a door on the side and the front, giving you an option to place the cage in different areas. The one negative to the cage is that the door placement is a little high and my dog has to step over the cage to get in. The first time in he tripped and it spooked him a bit, but he has since gotten used to it.Overall i am happy and I highly recommend this cage if you are looking for a visual improvement over the standard mental cage. Pic- Med cage 29 pound dog 1st time in cage so he was a little spooked, but it has grown on him.
Looks great, but low-quality crate.

We ordered the medium-size crate for our small-ish Australian Shepherd. She's about halfway between the size of a Sheltie and a normal Aussie, so pretty small dog. Under 35lb. She barely fits in the medium crate. The crate itself looks to be of moderate quality out of the box. Well painted, goes together pretty easily, if maybe a little wobbly. The wood veneer wraparound looks great, especially when everything is assembled. Since the pieces of the veneer are not actually connected though, any movement of the crate causes parts of it to fall off. And since the crate is pretty flimsy that's a regular occurrence. Contrast it to the high quality steel crate we had her in...that thing you could sit on and it wouldn't budge. But it looked like something out of a zoo sitting in the corner of the living room.

Now remember, our dog is small-ish and crate trained. She does get a little bit of separation anxiety, but she willingly goes in her crate. Within one week of worrying at the door side, she did what you see in the pictures below. Don't be fooled, this crate is _not_ well-built. It's heavy-gauge wire with tack-welds. She bent several of the bars, warped the door completely, and snapped through a couple of the spot welds. She also bruised up her muzzle pretty badly doing that, which you can see in the last image. I just sent an email off to the company to see what they can do, so this rating may go up based on their reaction, but purely based on quality of the product, got to knock it pretty far down.

ETA: In case anyone might doubt how crate-trained Sammi is, I attached a photo from our security camera of her at the moment, happily snoozing away in her heavy duty crate.

ETA 2: Heard back from PlumStruck. They were polite but curt and absolutely refused to do anything to assist me. I offered to pay for an upgrade to a larger more durable crate but they made absolutely no offer of assistance. My dog is going to the vet this afternoon for the damage to her muzzle from this low quality product. So I'm out over $130 for a low-quality product that is now unusable.
Just what I was looking for in a fashionable but large, utilitarian dog crate

As other reviews stated, the cage itself is not as substantial as you might find in a regular crate but it is more than sufficient for my bearded collie/shih tzu mix (25 lbs). He likes to stretch out with his legs fully extended behind him so I was looking for a nice, large crate for him. This one was long enough and tall enough for daily and nightly comfort. The wood pieces assemble easily and it has a door on the side and end which I needed. I use it for a table and it is working out well in the bedroom. It can make a nice edition in any room. You could spend much more on the Amish made wood crate covers but this one has been more than sufficient. Enclosing a photo I took at first setup but I removed the pillow for maximum space.

My only reason for 4 stars is that once assembled, it is pieced together through the assembly and a little hard to move. The top and bottom hold the four corner pieces together against the crate. Two magnetic pieces finish it off on the bottom ends.

My dog was already cage acclimated and goes immediately into his "new house."
