The biggest factor in the effectiveness of this product depends on your car. If you are using it to replace a manual hand crank, then it was originally designed to require an amount of manual force that cannot accurately be replicated by a small electric motor.
If your window glides in the channels up and down by hand with minimal effort, then this kit will most likely work well for you. If its hard to roll your window down by hand, then this probably isn't the best idea.

works great!!! although needed to use a 30amp fuse instead of a 20 or 15amp....15 blew using one window and the 20 blew after a two days of use, and use 14 gauge wire or bigger (12 gauge or maybe even 10 gauge) to power the system i used a 18 gauge intially and the motors were underpowered

Install is on a 2004 F150 Haritage PU (aka 2003) Im 60+ and crawlling over the seat to roll down the window does not work anymore. So having a similar kit in my 67 Chevy PU now 17 yrs old and still working. I gave this one a try, the price mite scare some but not me. It took me around 6 hours mostly because I am a perfectionist. This is a very good kit and as many have said the instructions are worthless, TRUE. But the instruction pictures will help you. Wireing is easy as you just route them under the dash and out to the doors, I had wire boots but you can buy them just about anywhere, even at a wreaking yard. I used the Add-A-Circuit fuse tap adapter from Amazon with a 15 amp fuse. These make it very easy to find the keyed on circuit. I installed the lighted switches where the crank holes were and in black they blend well wth my door handles and steering wheel. I did a amp draw on them when I was done, and both on going up only draw 12 amps so the 30 amp fuse is a tad over kill for 2 window kit. I will say this is a very good quility kit for a great price. I took a video so you can see how they go, they are just as quite as my honda.

One of the best i have this window kit on my 02 cavalier for more than a year now and never had anyproblem with it and i uses the same window kit on my friend 1998 silverado and he loves it so far only been mayb 2 months now i had a little problem one of the switch light wouldnt turn on no big deal but i contacted them and with some pictures then send me a new switch just take your time installing it i would buy again
