I bought this table primarily for the balls. I've been wanting to make my own custom mini table as a hobby and this kit had the size balls I needed (1 inch diameter). Buying balls by themselves on Amazon is about the same price anyways, so I bought this whole set.
The balls should work fine for my custom table. They have some weight to them and should behave realistic enough for my purposes.
The table itself is okay. For kids it's great. For someone looking for an accurate pool simulation, you won't get it, but it's still fun to play. The cushions suck, to put it bluntly, but you can still do bank shots sometimes. Softer rubber would help. Also thinner felt for ball speed would be nice (though durability might then become an issue with kids). It's a bit hard to grab the balls out of the little holes on the sides of the table - I have smallish adult hands, but for kids it should be no problem.
It's actually pretty fun to play for adults too if you're in the mood for some goofy fun.
This table is sold under different names by different distributors. I looked for the best price and free shipping. It arrived in 3 days (whoa!) and is just as promised. Packaged very well, all parts included.
