Not sure these are the real thing....

All I can say is these are not the same as I've gotten in my local stores. They are dull in color on the outside, a little differently shaped than normal, and they basically all taste the same. And they don't smell right, either. I called the company, and they told me to call Amazon, as they are the ones who sold it--the rep wasn't helpful at all. Amazon reps are always helpful, thankfully. After eating a few from this batch, I seriously doubt I will have these again--and I always loved them. These were that awful. Hopefully, it was just my box.

You know when you open up the pack and they're all yellow and orange like the fruit snack god is confirming that life hates you??? Yeah, every Welch's Pack has been a life affirming majority of red and purple gummies like a pat on the back and "you can do it!" In a pouch. Just buy it already.

Possibly the most addictive substance man has ever produced. As far as I'm concerned it's impossible to eat just one pouch. However I can tell you from personal experience that eating 10+ bags in one sitting is not easy on your stomach or your general health. These are marketed as 'healthy' for you as you can tell by the front of the box that has many flashy colors that draw the eye and purports to use 'real fruit' and are just chock full of vitamins. A glance at the back of the box however will reveal the two main ingredient as fruit juice and sugar. Many MANY types of sugar. As long as you know these not fruit 'snacks' and instead should be treated as fruit 'candy' then purchase away.

Freshness issue

Yes, a good price. But someone switched the box. The expiration date (or best by) on the individual packages is September 2017. The date on the box is April 2018. I bought a larger bag of these snacks while on travel and they were much fresher tasting and softer. I'll buy these at Costco for now on -- if there's a freshness issue it's much easier to return.

I absolutely love Welch's fruit snacks- They are made with real fruit juice and actually taste like fruit, not chemical. I've been buying the small boxes that contain very small bags for a while now, but I did know that they made larger sized bags such as these ones. I was incredibly happy to find this variety pack! I usually pay $2.50 for a box of 10 small packets- these bags seem to have at least triple the amount of gummies in them as compared to the small bags. It's a satisfying portion for adults who are addicted to gummies! While the one-flavor packs (the strawberry) are a little boring and I would have preferred the orchard or tangy fruits for more variety, I am overall extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely purchase again when I run out!
