Excellent they work great!

I purchased one of these for each new post. They work FANTASTIC but I had to go on the hunt for a large enough grill bit to drill the hole in the post for them. If they made these where the sensor part would fit in a 1/2" hole that would be better because most DIY'ers have a 1/2" bit. Instructions were easy to follow and the work GREAT!!!

Only down side is they are kind of big if you are not planning on using them in a post.
Great control for my outside lights

Works great. Very easy to install. Takes a while to activate so it does not flicker the lights on and off if someone passes by or leans against it for a few seconds.
Would recommend a different brand. NOT waterproof

Failed when condensate from rain penetration caused the devise to short out. My pole light is wired to a GFI electric outlet. GFI has tripped and when it is not tripped I cannot get any voltage via volt meter to red (hot to light) even though I get 110v at the hot (black) input. I am going to direct wire the lamp. Shame, because I preferred to have the light work as advertised as "dawn to dusk" when I have the switch in the on position.
WOrks great, but just a few things bug me....

PRO:
1. WOrks great.
2. Easy to wire if you follow the directions in the other reviews, that one guy posted a wire diagram, that was helpful.
3. Black and TWO nuts and rubber washers, to keep the rain out.

CON:
1. Little on the big side, I thought this was about 3/4" x 3/8" but sadly it's more like 1.5" x 1" x 1" so was a tight fit inside the outlet box.
2. Instructions are a little weak in my opinion.
3. Time will tell how long this lasts.

OTHER:
1. BUY if you need a photo sensor switch.
2. DON'T BUY if you think this a small / tinny version of the common photo sensor.
Worthless piece of garbage

Absolutely worthless! This past weekend I cut a hole in a brass light so the photocell could "see" and to install the electronics within the light's electrical box which protects the control from the elements. Simple installation that required nothing more than 3 electrical wingnuts - honestly pretty tough to screw up. This evening my wife asked me if this device is actually a motion detector; the only reason she would ask that is because it turns on and off so much after dark. Next weekend I will have to brave the cold again to take out the piece of junk and attempt to "patch" my brass light. I don't understand all the positive reviews. Useless garbage. Avoid.
