Not what I expected

So far I hate this machine! I had a Breadman years ago and it worked flawlessly, so I bought this one based on the name and I liked that it had the option to make 2 1lb loaves at the same time. I believe their one pound recipe called for WAY too much flour as the loaves came out dry and crumbled to pieces. Also, the loaf selection option is really confusing and it is a guessing game as to whether I am choosing correctly. Trying a larger loaf now. The raisins did not get added all at once since the automatic fruit/nut dispenser only added 1/8th of the raisins. I just added the rest by hand. If this loaf doesn't come out right I am boxing it up and returning it tomorrow!! Not one to complain, but when I spend over $100 on a product I want it to work properly!
One of the paddles is not moving properly and making a terrible noise. So disappointed

I purchased this breadmaker in early December 2016, now it is January 15, 2017 and it is not working properly. One of the paddles is not moving properly and making a terrible noise. So disappointed. I have had other breadmakers that I have paid much less for and have had no issues for 5 or more years.
Don't waste your money

Had the Breadmaker for just a few months and one of the collapsible paddles broke. You can't buy it because they are always out, the stationary non collapsible paddle is $20 a piece. What a Shame. This is my 4th one and by far the worst.
Just keeps going!

Bought this machine in 2012, and have used it every day to bake at least one if not 2 1/2 lb loaves. It is 2016 and it's still going. One of the bread pans has worn down to the steel under the paddle but it is still going without a problem.
Other than replacing the 2 1/2 pan with a new one we can't imagine a better machine. We've made sweet breads, pizza dough, specialty dough, and used just about every cycle except the jam cycle. It's marvelous and I hate to think of the day it stops working.

I was very excited to buy a bread maker and thought this one would fit what I wanted. I found the instruction booklet not as clear as I would have wanted it to be. The first time I made a loaf of bread I couldn't get the bread pan out. There is a certain wiggle and movement you have to apply to get it out. I used some of their recipes and one loaf came out huge , pushing the lid. I very carefully measured and went exactly as per instruction. Some other loafs came out lumpy and uneven. Located In the kneading paddle is a small black rubber piece, this has come out a couple of times during the baking and we had to find it in the bread.
I have also made some very good loafs, the multi grain white and the Swiss cheese bread are wonderful. I write everything down about every loaf I bake and how it turned out and what I can do to get a better outcome, if I have a problem. You really need the " bread lovers bread machine cookbook" it explains everything much better than the instructions that come with the machine. My advice, don't give up.
