A Must For Beekeepers
Dave G. - Dallas,Tx.•July 22, 2017
This hygrometer worked perfectly and helped me achieve the correct moisture content for my honey harvest. A must for any beekeeper who harvests honey. A definitely noticeable taste when you achieve the correct moisture level.
Seems very cheaply made, instructions are a joke.

The instruction don't match, they are useless! I feel this product is very cheaply made compared to other models.
Five Stars

Works great for a low price. Use olive oil to calibrate (just search google, you'll figure it out).
Great for testing honey
Charlie Parker•July 16, 2016
I am a beginning beekeeper. I use this to test honey for the right moisture content (less than 18.1%). I calibrated/adjusted this with extra virgin olive oil as recommended by other sites. I have used this to test various honeys from various sources including some extra thick honey from one of my hives. This product was easy to use although I had to depend on on instructions from other websites. (The included instructions are poorly translated from Chinese). This particular refractometer has scales that are perfect for testing honey - no conversion needed. Folks have reported durability problems with various refractometers so I plan on cleaning this carefully and gently and keeping it free of moisture and dirt.
Glad i purchased this item
