This is one great filter. I'm going to keep buying until I find something better but this bad boy filters all the water in my house as its set up as a whOle house filter with 5 micron pre-filter. No bottled water for me. Took some to a friends that has a R.O. system and we couldn't tell the difference but my system is cheaper. I also did all the copper so that helps with the bill.

Amazing filter. I use it as the last of three filters on a whole house setup. The first two are Pentek sediment filters (75/25 and 50/5). I bought this to reduce chlorine/chloramines in my water. After 9 months of use with 3 people in my house, my test strips are just starting to show very low levels of chloramines, where they showed no levels of chloramines for the first 8 months. I started with a sediment filter -> bone char -> this FloPlus filter, but the bone char clogged up after a month and cost around $65 to replace. Now, I have Pentek dual gradient 75/25 -> 50/5 -> FloPlus carbon block, and my wife and I couldn't be happier.

Bought the first filter lasted about eight months, I noticed the house water flow is slower, bought a new filter to replace the old one water flow back to normal. Like it.
