cheap plastic ain't worth it

I bought this at Walmart and it was terrible; had to return it. I don't get why something like this cost so much on Amazon. It's made out of thin cheap plastic. The food storage cracked on the side when I was removing the plastic wrap. Returned it and got a replacement in store and same issue.
The only thing good about it is that its easy to store food and makes the pantry less cluttered; but is it airtight...not really.

We have been using this product for several years now and they seem to be the most practical way to store and dispense our home's supply of Basmathi Rice, Idli Rice, and long grain rice. I love the hatch and the little notch to pull the bin forward. It would be great if this had a handle on the side to be able to lift the bin off the shelf to a counter to pour off the 20 lbs bad the rice comes in.

I have cats that are fed multiple times a day different brands of cat food. I bought two which fit side by side in my tall cabinet with a few inches between. They are so easy to unlock and scoop out what I need and seem very sturdy. They also would be easy to stack if needed. Even though these are pricey I kept checking the price daily and found that they went down quite a bit one day when I finally purchased them.

Bin is roomy enough to hold over 12 lbs of dry cat food. Hinged opening is loosey-goosey enough to render the bin not at all airtight. I'd send it back, but this little plastic guy is an international traveler who flew in all the way from Germany, so I've decided to let him crash in my cabinet for a while instead.

This is great, very strong, easy to access the rice inside the container. Comes with a measurement cup. There are 2 small wheels on the back, I thought it was silly, but once you fill up the container it can get pretty heavy, so those wheels really do come in handy. No complaints, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
