Have used scale twice & now won't work with power cord only on batteries.
Nice enough scale but if you were trying to weigh a 30lb dog you would never get the dog on the small platform. Not as quick to get weight as described.

Works very well, but if you have a big pet, the top may be a little small. You may want to put the pet in a carrier, and then set the scale to adjust for the weight of the carrier. It's been very handy for keeping up with our cat's weight. Seems very accurate.

The platform is a little small to be called a "pet" scale perhaps, but that's a minor issue. It just takes more effort to keep your animal centered on it until you get a stable reading. I have yet to keep a cat from moving long enough to hear the beep.

This scale is perfect for measuring my kitty's weight. It has tare capability which helps you to remove a box's weight when you are weighing moving objects like your favorite animal companions in a box. It measures American and European weights, and it will even weigh your cat in pounds, ounces and tenths of an ounce all together. I prefer this so I have the most accurate weight for my cat. This scale is so precise it can also double as a postal scale. For me, this is the best pet scale on the market. You cannot go wrong making this purchase. Go for it!!!
